What did you enjoy about playing at Selby? | An introduction from school by Gerry Downs ( long time player for York). His team were short a player so I filled in at age16 Peter Bramley ran the Selby colts and invited me to play my introduction to senior rugby was alongside Doug Forthsyth mike Smart and Mike McGee |
What did playing rugby teach you? | Team spirit and the long enduring friendships that the great game fosters |

Most memorable moment: | Seeing Dougie Forsyth hammer his own nose straight after it was broken!!! |
Funniest think you’ve seen on a rugby pitch: | Whilst on tour in Ireland seeing a guy on the touch line drop his overcoat revealing his playing kit then stepping on to the pitch to take a scoring pass |
