ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Selby Rugby Union Football Club will take place on Monday 3rd August 2026 at 7pm in the Clubhouse and all members are invited to attend to receive the Treasurer’s Report for the year, to hear reports from other members of the Board and to elect Officers of the Club for the 2026-27 season.
Nominations are invited for positions on the Board and should be addressed to current acting Secretary, Ray Adamson, by email to secretary@selbyrufc.com or by post to The Secretary, Selby RUFC, Sandhill Lane, Selby YO8 4JP. Nominations must be received no later than Monday 20th July.
Nominations for members to be elected as Vice Presidents can also be made via the Secretary, but may also be received on the evening of the meeting.
All Nominations must also be seconded and may only be made by full members of the Club
As part of this year's AGM, members are asked to review and vote on an updated Club Constitution. The revised constitution brings the club's governing document up to date and into line with current RFU and Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) requirements. In accordance with the club's notice requirements, a copy of the proposed constitution is available to review ahead of the meeting and can be found on our website HERE together with a summary of the changes. Members are encouraged to read it ahead of the meeting. The vote to adopt the new constitution will take place as a formal agenda item at the AGM.
