Running primarily during the school holidays, the club offers both full-day and half-day sessions, providing a fun, active and engaging environment for children aged 6–16.

Our programme includes a wide range of sports and outdoor activities, from team games and skills sessions to obstacle courses and creative challenges, alongside arts and crafts. We aim to create a positive, energetic atmosphere where children can stay active, try new things and build confidence while making friends.

Children should come prepared for an active day by bringing their own packed lunch (for full-day attendees), snacks, a refillable water bottle, hat and sun cream. We look forward to welcoming children from across the local community for an enjoyable and rewarding holiday experience at Selby RUFC.

Community Coaching

We are the schools, camps, festivals and community delivery arm of Selby Rugby Club, bringing high-quality, curriculum-linked sports coaching to primary schools across the Selby area. Our sessions are designed to be fun, inclusive and engaging — helping every child develop confidence, physical literacy and a love of sport, whatever their starting point.

Delivered by qualified, DBS-checked coaches, we offer flexible half-day or full-day sessions on a termly basis, typically running across 12 weeks. We work around your timetable and can tailor our programme to your school's needs.

As part of our wider community offer, we are also an official delivery partner for the FEAST programme through North Yorkshire Together, which provides funded holiday camp places for eligible young people. We will be working with schools to help co-ordinate access to these places — more details to follow.
