Selby found themselves under pressure from the off and spent the first ten mins of the game with their backs against the wall. Tremendous defence held West Park at bay.
Selby then applied their own level of pressure and the only problem was that Selby did not control the ball in the contact zone and form a loose ball West Park picked the ball up and broke away Selby's defence suddenly became very ineffective and West Park broke through to score.
Selby where not phased by this though and found heart which they turned into an aggressive attack making ground upfield. Holding West Park on their own ten meter line for a period of around 5 mins. eventually the forwards pressure succeeded and Raddings went over to score.
The second half started well for Selby as they continued with the pressure they had applied in the first half.
Playing most of the game in the West Park Half they eventfully forced West Park into a series of mistakes and form a poor pass that found its way into the goal area Mattie Wright dived on the ball to score.
All looked set for a Selby victory untill the last few mins when West Park chipped over the top for their right wing to run onto the ball and a missed tackle by Selby allowed him to score.
Game ended 10 points all.
