Tomorrow sees Selby RUFC travel to Percy Road for what’s always a competitive and enjoyable fixture against Pocklington. Fresh from last weekend’s strong win over Old Crossleyans, Selby will be looking to carry that momentum into what promises to be a tough away test.

There’s added excitement with three senior debuts this week — Ben Sibley stepping up from the Colts, alongside Ben Parker and Dan Evans — all set to make their first appearances in the Swans’ colours. Their energy and enthusiasm will bring a real spark to the squad.

Pocklington have started the season well and are never easy opponents at home, with a physical pack and a side that thrives on tempo and pressure. Selby will need to be switched on from the first whistle and disciplined throughout to stay on the front foot.

Confidence, though, is growing within this Selby group. With form improving, depth developing, and belief high, they’ll head into this one eager to test themselves and keep the winning run going.
