Match Preview – Selby Senior Men at Malton & Norton

The wait is over – today Selby RUFC Senior Men begin their 2025/26 league campaign with a tough away trip to Malton & Norton.

The 1st XV, led by captain Alex Webster who proudly marks his 200th senior appearance, will be looking to build on a strong pre-season and make a positive start to the year. Pre-season training has seen excellent numbers, high energy, and the integration of several new faces into the squad – all signs of a promising campaign ahead.

Selby’s 2nd XV also make the journey to Malton, keen to continue their momentum after a title-winning season last year. With both sides in action, it promises to be a great day for the travelling Swans’ support.

After weeks of preparation, the players are eager to get back to competitive rugby and set the tone for the season ahead.
