I'm sure the rest of the club will join me and the other players in thanking and wishing all the best to long standing player, club member and all round good guy Paul North as he calls time on his playing Career which has seen him grace Sandhill lane for many teams in many positions.

A hooker by trade Paul "Northy" North liked nothing more than being situated at the back of a maul leading his pack over the whitewash for his trademark score. Paul played for the 1sts and Captained the 2nds before dropping down into the 3rds and helping the younger, less experienced players to develop and improve. This is something that has been invaluable over the last few seasons and something that has been seldom done in recent seasons.

Paul will continue to come down on Saturdays (once he can stand straight) and assist 3rd team captain Chris Rawlins who led the tributes to Northy saying on his retirement "So sorry to hear the news that Paul has hung up his boots after this injury, it was a pleasure playing with him couldn't ask for more from a player on and off the field.
