This is a huge milestone for the team and one that has been years in the making. From starting out in an Inner Warrior league, to spending two seasons developing in NC3 and playing under U19 rules, the hard work, determination and commitment of everyone involved has finally paid off.

The team is now ready to take the next step and play competitive rugby in NC2, with more fixtures, tougher opposition and a new challenge ahead.

It certainly won’t be easy, but this group of women have shown time and time again what they are capable of. They are ready to give it everything and make the 2026/27 season another one to remember!

A huge congratulations to every single woman who has pulled on the Selby shirt, and to every coach, volunteer and supporter who has played a part in helping the team reach this incredible milestone in their rugby journey.

We are so proud of you all.
