Selby RUFC offers a comfortable, private setting for funeral receptions, memorial gatherings, and celebration of life receptions. Our welcoming clubhouse, flexible catering, and caring team are here to help you host a fitting gathering for family and friends — with everything handled quietly and without fuss, so you can focus on being together.

Catering

All food is freshly prepared in-house by our Head Chef. Our menus are a guide only — we're happy to discuss alternative dishes, additional courses, or bespoke requirements when you book.

Traditional Buffet — £10.00 per person
Sandwiches, quiche, pork pie & crisps

Selection of Cakes — £2.50 per person

Hot Buffet — £12.00 per person
Choose from: Cottage Pie with peas & gravy • Chilli Con Carne with rice & pitta bread • Chicken Curry with rice & naan bread • Hot Pork Sandwich with stuffing & apple sauce • Pie & Peas

All dietary requirements are catered for — just let us know at the time of booking and we'll make sure suitable options are available for every guest.

Remembering your loved one

We can help you create a personal, meaningful gathering:

Memory & photo display — our TV screens can show a photo slideshow throughout your reception. Please bring your images on two USB memory sticks.
Memory table — a dedicated table for photos, flowers, and personal mementos.

Drinks & refreshments

Tea and coffee are available from the bar, invoiced after the event. You can also arrange a pre-paid bar tab in advance so guests can order drinks without worrying about payment on the day.

Pricing & practical details

All menu prices are per person and include VAT. Room hire is included for gatherings of more than 30 guests; for 30 guests or fewer, a room hire fee of £60 applies. Free on-site parking with plenty of spaces for all guests.
