Well done to all the Under 10's who took part in the match at Leeds at half time.

This was our first outing this season against "real" opposition. The team showed great team spirit and it was great to see all the team bonding really well.

The match was played over the half time break of the Leeds. The team gathered just before half time for a team talk with all the players being extremely excited.

The team ran onto the pitch in great anticipation. We started with the ball and made some great moves into their half with the first attacking move of the game. Unfortunately the ball was stolen and Harrogate went deep into our half.

The team managed to keep them out for a while with several great try saving tackles being made, but they eventually broke our defensive line for the first of four trys.

Running the ball from the re-start we got close to going over their line but once again the ball was stolen, which became the pattern for a lot of the game.

The defensive efforts and the tackling was fantastic by all the team and managed to stop several more attempts on our line.

This was definitely a good start defensively but we need to work on recycling the ball.

Overall the team showed great spirit and some great teamwork.
