Todays game was special in more ways than one.
Firstly, the U10’s were facing Goole RUFC to play a curtain raiser before the 1st XV game.
The players started from the changing rooms running out to the pitch in front of a packed grandstand to a standing ovation.
The games against goole were tough. One was very evenly matched and took the players skills in both attack and defence to keep battling to score tries and stop Goole from scoring.
The second game went more Goole’s way, but this was an excellent opportunity for the players to show their grit and determination to never give up.
The matches finished with a presentation to Garry Adamson our previous manager. The players gave Garry a card and some gifts and he told them just how proud he was of how well they played and how they have continued to improve.
