Match Preview: Selby Women v Malton & Norton

Sunday marks an exciting milestone for Selby RUFC as our Women’s XV play their first home league match of the season, welcoming Malton & Norton to Sandhill Lane.

The team have started the season in superb form, kicking things off with a memorable win under the floodlights before following it up with another hard-fought victory against York RI. Confidence is high in the squad, and there’s a real sense of momentum building as they look to make it three from three.

Malton & Norton are always tough opponents, known for their physicality and competitive edge, so Selby will need to bring the same intensity, organisation, and teamwork that have already delivered early success. With a strong mix of experienced heads and new talent, the Women’s XV are eager to showcase their progress in front of a home crowd.
