Big win in first friendly

An big win against a depleted but very game Wath side which include Jason Goodwin and James Abrams who valiantly switched sides and were the two best players in a Wath shirt to be honest.

Outstanding performances from Ed Kelly who scored a couple and new recruit from Rugby League Jake Ward who impressed with some great running.

Overall a tough game to get "match" competitive for and the referee blew up for full time with 20 minutes still left to play. Which no one really complained about.

Now the real business begins with a tough trip to Wetherby 2's who have clung onto the success of their ever improving 1st team to secure a promotion up the merit league.
