The Local Derby of Selby V Goole is always an exciting afternoon of competitive rugby with our neighbours and this weekend saw the u8s and 10s take on this challenge with a pre-match curtain raiser.

The teams experienced the thrill of waiting in the Tunnel before running out for the first time on the 1st Team Pitch - what a memorable experience and we hope will spur them on and one day run out as a fully fledged, Selby RUFC 1st XV player!

All the players from both sides quickly got involved with their game and both sides enjoyed some great passing and try scoring.

It will be something they can always remember the first time they played on the first team pitch.
