We've now got two age grades for the Girls Under 13's & U15's. Numbers have grown again since the summer and we now have around 30 girls across the two age groups, (which is no bad considering we only started just over a year ago).

We've also acquired a couple of extra assistant coaches to help out, which is great and makes the job a lot easier for Dave as Head Coach having some help especially with so many girls down at training now on a weekly basis.

We are thrilled that 2 of our U15 Girls have been selected for Yorkshire from the recent trials, this is testament to them as individual players but also to the club, hopefully its just the first of many honours to come the way of the Girls section at Selby.

The U 13's have gone from strength to strength and at the recent Doncaster festival they won 3 of their 4 games only losing to Castleford who remain one of, if not the, leading side in Yorkshire in terms of Girls rugby.

Anyway, that gives you a bit of an update, new girls always welcome just get in touch with Dave or Vicki along with anybody else that wants to volunteer, we are currently on the hunt for match reports, first aiders and some people to help organise the Girls festival the club will host next March.
