The Selby under 14 squad intend to tour in March 2022. Covid may be the ultimate deciding factor, but they were invited by Morrisons Selby to raise funds towards it.

The destination is Newcastle, and the boys will take in a Premiership game and team building, along with visits to two local clubs in the area for some rugby.

The group got together and donated raffle prizes and some other inventive fun. The boys ran the stall and engaged well with the general public and were exceptional ambassadors for the club.

Morrisons staff were fantastic and brought out regular rounds of hot chocolate to keep spirits up and hands warm. They also donated a seasonal hamper to add to our raffle prize.

We asked Shona Hancock, Morrisons Selby’s Community Ambassador, to draw our raffle and will post the winning tickets in-store. The picture shows Shona picking the two winning tickets assisted by Trish Kavanagh who organised the event.
