3. Selby RUFC Social Media Team


Selby RUFC are on the lookout for a team of social media/marketing savvy volunteers.

The team will spearhead the promotion of all the teams and age groups at Selby RUFC and will work together to provide a varied and inspiring programme of posts and articles to showcase the values of rugby and the Club. The aim is to keep our member’s informed of what’s happening and inspire new players and supporters to join us throughout the upcoming season.

Some of the areas to cover:

  • Updating the social media accounts (currently Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and appropriate areas of the Club’s website.
  • Building on and increasing the current reach and following of all the social media accounts.
  • Writing articles and press releases and encourage team managers/parents/players to write match reports.
  • Posting match reports received from teams on the Club website and local newspapers.
  • Work with our graphic designer to create great looking promotional material for advertising/announcements.
  • Helping promote the Club via use of social media and the website.
