Selby RUFC 4th Team 15
Wath Upon Dearn 3rd team 5
Writes James D’Lion
This game was played in the memory of former Selby skipper Darren Bagguley and the passion to win for there captain was clear. In condition more suited to bog snorkelling than rugby. Wath started brightly with a try inside the first five minutes. But Selby hit back through Baker who had a brilliant game at scrum half after switching from hooker. In the second half the game was all Selby who scored two further tries from Allinson and Lidddle. Daz would have been proud of the team for a magnificent display in terrible conditions.
