This year, we have taken a bold decision to make some changes to the membership subscription rates, to make it less confusing for our members and easier for you to choose the correct package which is best suited to your needs.

Therefore, all non-playing members will have one membership rate of £25 per person. This will be called “Social Membership”. A Social Membership will replace existing Senior, Social and Partner combinations, simplifying from four packages to one package.

All Social Members will be full members of the Club and will have full voting rights, benefit from our social Touch & Pass session held weekly and be able to join and use the Club’s Gym (additional membership needed). All Touch & Pass attendees will need to be a member of the Club.

We have also removed the Player and Partner membership package. If a Senior Player wishes their partner to be a member, then the new Social Membership package should be purchased as well as their own Senior Player package.

Family packages will remain unchanged and all adults will now have full social membership rights. Player memberships will remain unchanged in terms of structure and benefits.

In addition to the change in your membership packages, we will also be trailing a new way of issuing membership cards. One of our biggest operational headaches is membership card administration and replacement. Moving forward, from mid-September, all new cards will be issued digitally and available on your Smartphone. This will provide members with new features and membership updates such as your 200 club numbers and special discounts. For those members who would prefer not to use the digital option, arrangements have been made to retain a physical membership card. Watch this space!

Finally, as you are all aware, costs of running any type of club are always increasing, more so than ever over the last 12 months. Last season we took the decision to freeze all membership costs to reflect the current Covid situation. This year, we do have to increase prices. On average, a membership packages will be increasing by 5%-6% (excluding social membership). The average increase in packages will be between £4 - £14. We understand that this is a big increase, however our costs have increased significantly this year. *To help with this, and as a thank you to those members that paid their membership, in full, last season, we are offering all Family and Senior Player memberships entered into before 30th September 2021, a £5 voucher which can be redeemed at the shop or at the bar in the month of October. These vouchers will be issued at the end of September and must be used during the month of October.
