Selby made the long journey to Wath RUFC with a once again much changed side, due in part to the RWC (this might change now). A good showing by the Selby lads wasn't enough to stop a strong Wath 3rd team win but in a game that had 60+ points scored and Selby contributing to 22 of them the signs look good once Selby get a settled team together.
Try's scored by Micky Parsonage, Jase Goodwin, Adam Ross and Tom O'neill sadly not enough to beat Wath but a good showing none the less.
Selby travel the short distance to Castleford this weekend as the league games restart again and Selby will hope to have a few faces back to bolster the ranks. The team will then enjoy the first social of the season with the call still to be announced.
