Girls Rugby Achievement

We are proud to announce that following nomination by her Yorkshire coaches and trial at Morley RFC, Erin Bradley has been selected for the under 18s Centre of Excellence.
Run by Women’s Tyrell’s Premiership side, DMP Sharks, the Centre of Excellence will provide Erin with extra training sessions with the best players in the North of England, as well as additional S&C provision and nutritional advice.

This is a massive achievement for Erin as competition was tough. What's even more impressive is that Erin has made the squad despite being one of the youngest in the age banding. In female rugby under 18s are made up of year 11, 12, and 13 and Erin moves to year 11 in September.

Everyone at the club is immensely proud of this achievement. Selby is amongst the best clubs in the region for female rugby and a proven track record of producing high quality players. Having teams for under 13, 15, 18 and soon, a ladies team, Selby are fully committed to creating a sustainable female section. It is hoped we will have more county representatives and CofE players next season.

Any girls wishing to give rugby a try are welcome to come along to one of our sessions on Wednesdays (U18s) 1900 2030 and Fridays (U13 & U15) 1800 - 1930. Visit www.selbyrufc.club for more information or email comms@selbyrufc.com
