Following last year's security issues with the travelling community and the temporary gates we have had in place since then, we are pleased to announce that the new electronic security gates have now been installed.

There is a pedestrian entrance to the side of the gate so access to the grounds is available at all times.

The general code has been distributed already to those that need it and I am sure that this will filter through to the ones we have missed. If you have the code, you will need to walk through the pedestrian gate and the keypad is situated on the inside of the automated gate. This will open the gate and the gate will then remain fully open for 10 seconds before closing behind the vehicle that has entered. There is plenty of time to return to your car and drive through, before the gate closes.

When needed, the gate will be fully open at key times of the day and evenings to allow for constant movement of traffic.

When entering and leaving the grounds on to Sandhill Lane please be mindful of meeting cars in the opposite direction especially on busy days.

Also, the Sandhill Lane parking area is still used for the Biker Training School and cars should not be left here overnight to obstruct their sessions.
